Oh man, two glasses of wine tonight, which is like an epic night of debauchery and wretched excess for me. This means I am sleepy, and I still want to get around to a few blogs before bed, so I’m going to be brief, and just give the outfit details:
Denim jacket: Gap, thrifted, remixed. As part of this wardrobe-slimming regime, I have decided I do not need so many blue denim jackets. This one stays, and I’m probably keeping the dark wash cropped one, because it’s different enough, and I can see a need for it, but others will be going away. This is the one I wear most frequently, so it’s proven its worth to me.
Tee: Gap Outlet. My t-shirt drawer is now impeccably organised, which means I’ve unearthed a lot of things I didn’t even remember I had, and culled a lot, too. This is from a few years back and I’m pretty sure I’ve never worn it here before.
Pendant: Thrifted, remixed.
Belt: Moroccan Bazaar. This is a sort of deep burgundy leather, which may not show too much in the photo, but it does work well with the purple.
Skirt: New Look, remixed. It’s been the summer (such as it is) of maxis, for sure. The weather was quite hot and very sunny today (by which I mean it broke at least 70F), so I thought I’d give this one more turn before autumn sets in.
Bag: Cath Kidston, remixed. I had mangoes and avocados on my shopping list, and I like to be able to baby them a bit, instead of dumping them in a shoulder bag and letting them get all banged up by whatever else I’m carrying.
Sandals: Hush Puppies, remixed. Again, I am seriously grabbing every opportunity to wear my summer stuff I get right now.
