I have this little problem...

No double duty on the challenges today! I’m just linking up with Megan and Keely’s latest challenge, This or That Trends. Participants got to choose between tribal and floral prints, today, and here I am, predictably enough, in a floral skirt. Also predictably enough, I am indulging in my love of pink and black again.
I’ve been slowly doing my seasonal wardrobe changeover, and having a big cull as I do it. I found this skirt while digging into the Rubbermaid box that contained most of my lightweight cotton skirts. I have a LOT of printed floral skirts, and I am getting rid of many of them. This one made the cut, mainly because it wasn’t as samey as all too many of the others. I really do want a smaller wardrobe, full of things I love and wear more frequently than I do now, and honestly, how many approximately knee-length printed floral cotton skirts do I need? The answer to that is, not as many as I had, that’s for sure.
Back in the kitchen today, as the weather went cruddy. I hope to be photographing outdoors again soon.
Details:
Necklace: Vintage Anne Klein II, remixed.
Top: Gap, remixed.
Skirt: Nine West, thrifted. This may be remixed, but I can’t recall.
Tights: M&S, remixed.
Shoes: Hotter. I don’t think these are showing very well, but they’re square-toed Mary Janes with a slightly chunky 2-inch heel.
