After two consecutive Mondays when visibility was not my highest priority (one was a funeral, the other was a sick spouse), I am back this week, and very glad to be. So I’m hopping back in on Visible Monday 35, and as always, many thanks to the lovely Patti for hosting.
This outfit was chosen primarily because I needed (for some value of ‘need,’ that isn’t actually, you know, need) to try on a tunic I want to wear with this cardigan. I am dreadful at eyeballing lengths, and so just putting together an ensemble that’s almost identical to the one I’d be creating with the new tunic seemed like a good idea. It was. You’ll be seeing the end result very soon.
I liked this outfit a lot. The weather’s been pretty mild for a couple of days now, so I didn’t fear freezing, and with as much as I love winter clothes, it felt so good to wear something much lighter weight, and if not exactly springlike, at least not so obviously winter clothing.
Happy Visible Monday, all, and please do check out the other participants!
Necklace: Thrifted. No idea where the heck this originally came from, but I found it oddly appealing.
Cardigan: Tag says “Primrose,” and I got it at TK Maxx. It’s made by the same company, and is of the same luscious fibre mix as the ruffly/waterfall cardigan I wore last week. Since the style was substantially different from the other long black cardi, and it was every bit as cheap as well, I figured it was probably worth it. And, again, the knit is just so soft and luxurious. I like the nipped-in waist a lot.
Tunic: H&M. Still more stripes.
Bangles: Various, remixed.
Leggings: No idea. I’ve long since detagged them, and just fished them out of the basket where the leggings reside.
