It’s Visible Monday, at Not Dead Yet Style, and I am starting the new year off, as I plan to continue, by participating. Due to Tumblr’s weird way of handling photos, I have to split the photos from today into two posts, so I can properly link on the Visible Monday page. The other photos are right here.
I almost feel like wearing Desigual is cheating, when it comes to visibility. So I’m a big dirty cheater, I guess. The House Photographer really enjoyed photographing this outfit against that white wall, and I enjoy making the House Photographer happy, so it’s a win. He’s gone a little ape over Desigual’s stuff, and was pleased to receive a couple of their shirts for Xmas. Not delighted enough to let me take pictures of him, of course, but pretty delighted, all the same. I’m also pleased to report that while my recent Retail Chicken Lose dress is on sale, it isn’t by much — it’s only about five quid cheaper than what I paid for it, after using my £5 off coupon, and as I’ve worn it several times, I’m able to live with this.
Denim Jacket: Gap, thrifted, remixed. I got punked into thinking it was tolerably warm today by the sunny skies, and had to turn around and come right back and put on my leather jacket, alas.
Jumper: Primark, remixed.
Necklace: Wallis, remixed. I couldn’t get the pendant off the chain to transfer to a shorter one, so I just looped this one twice around my neck, and hid it under the collar of my jumper. I was really pleased by my own resourcefulness in coming up with this trick, which I realise probably everybody else in the world already knew.
Belt: Zara, remixed.
Skirt: Desigual Outlet.
Tights: These are the beautifully hued tights of terrible suck from New Look, and as soon as I find a comparable pair somewhere else, these will be history.
